Terms of use

Using the service

SavedVid is a free tool that prepares a copy of a publicly available video or its audio from a link you provide. By using it you agree to these terms.

Your responsibility for what you download

Only download content you have the right to download. That normally includes your own uploads, material in the public domain, and content whose owner has given you permission.

Downloading a copy and republishing it are different acts. You may not use this service to republish, sell or pass off someone else's work as your own. Doing so can infringe copyright and breaks the terms of every platform the service supports.

What the service cannot do

The service works only with public content. It cannot access private accounts, followers-only posts, stories, age restricted videos or anything else that requires signing in, and it does not attempt to bypass those restrictions or any regional block.

Acceptable use

Do not use automated tools to send large numbers of requests, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it to fetch content unlawfully. Requests are rate limited, and addresses that abuse the service may be blocked.

No guarantee of availability

The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Platforms change how they deliver video and sometimes block requests from servers, so a download that works today may fail tomorrow. There is no guarantee that any particular link will work or that the service will be available at any given time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SavedVid is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including files that fail to download, arrive incomplete, or are used by you in a way that infringes someone else's rights.

Trademarks

SavedVid is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe which links the service accepts.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service means accepting the current version.
